MS04-004 makes my explorer.exe use 50% CPU

Since I installed MS04-004 and MS04-007, my W2K.computer has felt
sluggish and slow.
Yesterday, I realized that this was because the explorer.exe was using
up a lot of CPU (20-50%). I have no idea what it is doing, so I pulled
the network connection and then it rose to 60-70% CPU. And in
addition, IE eats memory, beginning from ~20M when started.

Are there any known problems with MS04-004 regarding explorer.exe
performance?

Is it possible to uninstall MS04-004? (I cant find it in
COntrol_panel->Add/Remove programs)

Ok, so I found that ieuninst.exe should be used but what can I
do when there is no .inf file?
There is only a q832894.pnf no q832894.inf in my winnt/inf directory.

I was able to restore q832894.inf by using Restore4all and ran
"ieuninst /z q832894.inf" and rebooted by PC. It claimed to have
uninstalled the hotfix successfully, but my explorer.exe still run
amok.
