MS03-026 killed my server at NDIS.SYS

I put the MS03-026 patch on two of my servers and it killed one! It wont boot.
No blue screen, nothing. Just the "starting" screen and it sits there forever.
When booting to safe mode the text list stops at NDIS.SYS.
Can I do a parallel install and just replace that file in \system32 and all will
be OK?or is there more to be concerned with?

what i had to do when SP3 and 4 hung at the same spot with 11 bars on the
progress bar was boot off the CD hit enter to install w2k. when it detect
previous versions of windows it will find you install. you want to repair.
go through the repair. i had to do this twice because the first one blue
screened. the second time it works. i have done it twice and it only take
about an hour.
