I have been using Word to create HTML based files and
since installing SP2 I get warning messages such as "This
object was created in HTMLInlineSoundCtl. This application
is not available to open this object. Make sure the
application is properly installed and that it has not been
deleted, moved, or renamed."

Supposedly, this is a known issue that SP2 was supposed to
fix however I did not have the problem until after
installing SP2! How does this constitute a fix?

So, what to do? Re-installing Word didn't solve it. Should
I re-install SP2? Can you re-install SP2? Should I switch
to a Mac?

The error message you site is a known issue and Microsoft
is working on a fix. The fix will be available on the
Microsoft Knowledge Base web site when it becomes
available. Switching to a Mac will not solve the issue,
but it will lighten your pocketbook by a hefty amount.
