ms-word opening very very slow on winxp

i am having windows xp with sp2 .antivirus , problems is to open ms
word it take very long time .
plse any body help me to rectify .

Go to your antivirus program's preferences and disable any MS Office
plugins. If you don't know where to look, then use the antivirus
program's Help files to search for "Office integration" or the like.
