MS Word (not responding), CPU usage 100%

Sequence "View->Outline -> Show Level 1, 2, 3-> trying to
text edit" suspends the Word 2002 in any case:
1. New document with 2-3 headers of any level
2. Big complex document.
3. Under win98Se, XP, 2k
4. With no MS Office SP, with SP1, with SP2.

Diagnosis (Ctrl+Alt+Del): MS Word (not responding), CPU
usage 100%

No info found in knowledge base.
Did anybody face it?

Hi Yorick,

Have you tried
- holding CTRL when starting Word (Safe mode)?
- booting Windows in Safe Mode?

If the problem does not occur in either one of these
situations, that would narrow down where the problem could
be coming from.
