Looking for MS Word 'freeware' for Win98 SE

Here is some free labeling software from Avery.

Avery Wizard for Word 97
Avery Wizard for Word 2000
Avery Wizard for Word 2002
Avery Wizard for Word 2003
Free Label Templates for Microsoft Word
Microsoft Outlook Add-in for Avery Labels

Select the version of Word that you have.

It's still available too :

Why would anyone want to use this antiquated
program when Open Office 2.0 is compatible
with so many more versions of Word and has
the Spreadsheet and .PPS Presentation software
too?

I am so impressed with Open Office that I
UNINSTALLED Office 87 and use OO instead
for all my AVERAGE word processing and Spreadsheet
endeavors. I am even gonna use their database instead
of MS products. I can always export a TEXT version of
the file (comma delimited) to anyone that needs my information.

Just my two cents, and OO is FREE!

I recently installed Atlantis Nova on a friend's pc. She needed to be
able to read Word docs and save her own documents in a format that was
readable by Word ie. rtf. It's small and free.

Atlantis Nova is a great little program. I've been using it for years!

Who said MS Word was freeware .... the OP was asking for MS Word
"freeware".

Lots of freeware for MS Word, including Microsofts very own "FREE" MS Word
viewer.

JF, you need to up the dose on the valium.

Doc, thanks for the support. JF and Art, heh purity of spirit is
great, thanks for keeping up the standards.

I hope you are not offended by the plastering of my Website with ads.
I'm still $18,500 in debt. I'm making $10 a day at most on the ads. A
lot of the debt came from unemployment periods where I used the down
time to research freeware.

Freeware is good. It's made for people like me in debt or of low
income. That's why I like it. Heh I'm struggling, I hope you don't
think I'm taking advantage of anybody...Feedback is good, but I agree
with Doc, it shouldn't come in Yoda like enigmatic replies. Your
stepping on people's feelings.

No prob.
I hope you are not offended by the plastering of my Website with ads.

But, what adverts ?? Your site is 100% ad-free.

I hope you are not offended, but I have a fairly good filtering system
running alongside my IE based browser and I rarely see any adverts on any
website.
