MS wireless mouse and KVM switch

I fancy purchasing the new MS mouse, the wireless one in
which the wheel will go left & right as well as up & down.

I use a Linksys KVM switch to run two systems with one
monitor, keyboard and mouse. Does anybody known if the
wireless mouse base works OK when plugged into a KVM
switch?

It might. Mine works fine most of the time through a Belkin Omniview SE KVM, but
one of my systems occasionally fails to recognize the mouse on power up. When
recognized, all features of the mouse work fine. When it isn't recognized, I
have to reboot again with the trouble PC *not* actively selected in the KVM and
then the extended mouse features don't work, but the mouse is completely
recognized.
