I've noticed a few people mentioning nasty symptoms occurring after
installing one of the recent MS updates. Is this KB904942, or "other"? My
computer's hounding me to install the aforementioned "improvement", but I
have no time for nonsense this week.

If you're not running IE7 B2 (or if you are but you don't use OE [which you
do] or access a Hotmail account in OE), you don't need 904942. "Hide" it.

Wait until you have some time for nonsense, because there's a good
chance you'll need that time.

You should be able to "uncheck" each update when prompted to install so
that MS won't be hounding you to proceed with the installation.

So far all I lost from the MS06-015 update was the capability to edit my
HP wireless keyboard buttons.
