Is there a forum for the MS Spyware beta?

The only beef I've got with it so far is that it wants to start at
boot up. I hate that. I'm going to have to go into "msconfig" and
deactivate whatever is trying to run in the background. I've
already unchecked all the options in the Options menu, which made
the program bearable to use. If I can stop it from running in the
background I may even keep it on my computer for a while.

Why not simply click Options > Real-Time Protection, and de-select the
"Enable Microsoft Antispyware Security Agents on Start-up" and the
"Enable Real-Time spyware threat protection?"

Never mind. A little experimentation shows that de-selecting all of
the real-time and start-up options from within the application does
_not_ keep portions of it from starting up. A registry edit is
necessary. I also consider this unacceptable, but this is, after all, a
beta release. Hopefully, it'll be fixed in the final version.
