Does anyone think that you could do a better job, or even as good a job, at
removing unwanted hidden data by writing a custom VBA macro instead of using
the MS remove hidden data tool that is now available?

thanks.

Hi Chip,

I doubt that you could do as thorough a job in the sense that some of this
data is inaccessible through VBA, and some I bet you (and I) do not even
know it is there! How would you remove that then? ;-)

Any particular reason you would like to "reinvent the wheel"?

Cheers!

No particular reason, just had a request from management to do this in VBA,
and when it was found MS already had a tool, there's been some resistance in
using it. You confirmed what I already suspected; thanks.
