MS - Red X instead of pictures

I've gone to the web site http://www.slipstick.com/problems/redx.asp
didn't help
I've posted this several times over the last several weeks and can't get any
help. I've searched the web and I'm not getting anywhere

I have Vista Business, Outlook 2007, upto date with service packs

That is the usual cause of red x's. The other cause within outlook is
generally pretty obvious as the image place holders and info bar say "right
click to download". If the pictures are small the text in the image may be
hidden.

The only other reason would be antivirus/antispam scanners or security
software preventing external content or deleting attached images.
