Just wondering if Win XP-home has the old ms paint
program included. I looked under accessories and did not
see it.
Thank you,
Mike

Hi - its listed under accessories in my XP Pro - It is optionally installed
with XP. Go to Control Panel/add remove programs and go to add/remove
windows components. Follow the path through 'accessories' and you will see
'paint' which will need to be installed - have your win XP CD-ROM to hand
'cause you will most likely be prompted for it.

Hope this helps - Rod

XP has it. Look for 'mspaint' inside 'system32' files -
'windows' folder. Create a shortcut in desktop.

Good luck

Yes, Paint is under Accessories. If yours is not
listed, go to ControlPanel/Add or Remove Programs.
Lefthand columsn "Add New Programs" and have your WinXP
CD handy to add, and take it from there.

I have a XP Home Accessories listing for just "paint", which was there
when I bought the machine. Shortcut target is
%SystemRoot%\System32\mspaint.exe.

Maureen;
It looks as though you have as much free time as I do. Click
Start/Programs/Accessories/Paint. It is the one with the cup full of paint
brushes. Or it is @ C:\Windows\System32\mspaint.exe. Try this:
Start/Search/For files and folders/make sure you select your C drive and
select advanced options/type in mspaint.exe/when you find it, right
click/Send to/Desktop(create shortcut). Hope this helps.
Let us know,
Wes
