Don't ask how, but I lost my OS and now rebuilding with a
new install. The last thing I need to do is find all
Outlook stuff before I can do a clean install. Thought I
copied everything first but guess the CD is gone! I found
my emails through a search but the address's are the
problem. I did a search for .wab...found them...but can't
get to them to import/export or open the file. The ones I
did find are not the current addresses. I will settle
with the old ones but much perfer the current. Anyone
know what I can do??? Thanks for any help.

p.s this is Outlook NOT Outlook Express

Outlook keeps the Contacts in it's own .pst profile. If
you backup your current .pst profile you will also have
all your contacts.

Hope this helps!

All the emails, calendar, tasks, contacts, journal, etc... in outlook are
stored in one file -- the outlook.pst file. Just use the export function in
outlook: file export, export to file, choose .pst file.
Or copy the file from here and save it:
C:\Documents and Settings\your user name here\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook
(this is a hidden folder so you have to have hidden folders set to show)

Then either copy the file back after the clean install or use the import
function in outlook.
