MS Office 97

I purchased a new computer with xp pro operating sys. I
can not get office 97 to load onto this machine. Can
anyone help?

What is the error message? I've loaded Office 97 very successfully many
times on XP machines ... I have no experience debugging this since I
have never experienced a problem ... but if you let us know the error
message you get it would help us help you figure it out.

(Did the ID you were logged in as have sufficient permissions to install
software?)
