BFD. Linux is just a toy on the desktop anyway. It's FREE and most

For all the talk of 'free vs paid for', 'open source vs closed source',
they're both big business at the top so an alliance is natural. Think
Stalin, leader of the Communists, (=Linux) working with the Capitalist West
(=Windows) against the enemy Hitler (=Google???) during the 2nd World War.

Thanks Harry. There was perhaps such a mass effusion of handclapping that no
room was left for typing comments.

The main point was really that of 2 ostensibly opposing ideologies combining
to fight a common 'enemy'. The nature of that enemy isn't really that
significant, just so long as everyone knows that they're the enemy, and the
alliance are the 'good guys'.... or are they?

No, I'm not a politician. I try to avoid being a puppet or a pathological
liar, so I lack 2 of the main qualifications.
