"MS Access 2007 not valid win32 application"

Howdy, new the forums...

I'm trying to develop a DB for my Masters' using Access 2007, and packaging
it using the package wizard. It installs just fine on my computers that I
own. However, on a computer of another person, when they try to run the
Setup.exe that is produced by the wizard, they get a "not valid win32
application."

Any ideas on what the deal is?

It installs fine on both my XP machines, using the Access 2007 runtime
environment. The error is occuring on a 2000 machine.

Ah, you can't run any Office 2007 app on Windows 2000 OS.

Was not aware of that. What's the latest Office app that can be, 2003? So
I guess there isn't a work around other than to "downgrade" my DB to whatever
Office version works on Windows 2000?

Yes, and they don't give clear messages either when folks try to do

Correct. This assumes, of course, that you can purchases the VSTO
(Visual Studio Tools for Office 2003/2005) these days.
