Help,
I shot a number of video's on MPEG4 with a Pocket PC Phone Edition QTEK
2020. My first problem is that i have to flip the original recordings,
Second problem is that I followed all the patchinstructions to make
mediaplayer and encoder accept MP4 (mpeg4) but nothing works. I realy need
help.
I use Win XP and the media9 series player,
I tried removing everything and reinstalling but nothing helps. The pathches
i applied were:
HF828026
HF832353
HF835861
HF836544
Furthertmore I applied wm9codecs.exe to get MPEG4 support
And still nothing works
Help!
Thanks,
Tony Thijs

From PapaJohn's website:Codecs
Divx encoded MPEG4 AVI files are often downloaded from the internet. It is
one of the download choices for those from the Prelinger Archives.

For DIVX encoded .AVI files, you will need to download and install a DIVX
codec, available from various places such as Divx. Clues that you need a
DIVX codec are: the file has a .avi extension, you hear the audio but don't
see the video when playing it in the Windows Media Player, you get the error
message when trying to import it into MM2.

Heed this Microsoft Divx - FAQ Item and create a restore point before
installing
