I've created a ppt with several mpeg movie files in it. however there is one
file that will not play. I've tried shortening the file name to make sure it
is less than 128 characters when inserted...no luck. I click on the file, get
an hour glass icon then nothing. As a test I loaded the ppt and file onto a
co-woker's computer who is running windows XP (same as me) but ppt 2003 (I am
using 2000); the file played fine. Also I tried converting the mpeg to an avi
which then played on my ppt doc (longer file name though), however due to
errors with the conversion software no sound was transferred with the file so
I can't use it. Another note: when inserted the black screen is more than
double the size of the other files.
