Dear All,

I have recently installed XP and am quite glad with it's performance.

Unforunately,i'm having a problem with Kazaa after downloading mp3s.On
playing the mp3 file, the file plays distorted sounds after a few seconds.

Would appreciate if a solution to this problem could be made aware at your
earliest.

Many thanks,

Savio

Chad,

Never had this problem with Win 98.Sorry but i feel it's insane to download
different versions of the same song over and over again just to find the
right file. It's just a waste of time.

Feel the concerned people(either Kazaa or Microsoft) should try to sort this
problem.

What say?

Rgds,

Savio

Hey Savic,
I'm having a similar problem, its just that the mp3's
worked on kazaa for me untill about augest 29. But it's
only on some songs. Try downloading different versons of
the same song, go for the ones with typos. For example,
In Too Deep by Sum 41 doesn't work but Into Deep probably
will.

If anyone knows the cause or a solution to this please e-
mail me!!!

Probably a corrupted file - it was badly recorded or converted into an mp3.
Find another version.

Cheers,
Jerry

Jerry,

A single mp3 file can corrupt but not many. There is some glitch
somewhere,can't find out though.

Thanks for the input.

However,still open for suggestions.

Have you up-dated all your software (DirectX, Soundcard drivers and WMP) ?
Have you tried re-installing WMP ? Have you tried turning down the hardware
acceleration relating to your sound card ?

Cheers,
Jerry

I've had the same problem - I've noticed that it only happens in files
that downloaded at high bandwidth - >100kbps. Perhaps its an error in
the way Kazaa puts together the song sections?

MW,

I was guessing the same thing too.

Jerry,

DirectX is up to date.
SoundMax is standard for all OS.
Haven't tried reinstalling WMP.Will do that shortly and inform you about the
progress.
Hardware acceleration, haven't tried that too, will do so.

However,still open to suggestions.

Thanks,

Savio
