Wondering what people recommend on the NG fro editing MP3 tags.

Have used ID3-TagIT (http://www.id3-tagit.de/english/index.htm) and MP3tag
(http://www.mp3tag.de/en/) but was wondering whether there was anything
better.

I personally like MP3Tag as you've already mentioned, but I believe The
Godfather http://users.otenet.gr/~jtcliper/tgf/ is also very popular.

MP3Tag is what I'm mainly using nowadays but there's also the free
Property Page extension tool MP3-Info v3.423 from Michael Mutschler
available here: http://www.mutschler.de/mp3ext which I still use and
have done so for a long time ...horses for courses.

Wondering what people recommend on the NG fro editing MP3 tags.
I have no financial connection (or any other) with MusicMatch, but I love it
as a music library system and it has incorporated editing of MP3 tags. I
have the pre-nagware version 8.2 installed and have ZoneAlarm set to prevent
it from updating itself. (This is necessary or it will.) When you put your
music CD into the machine, it goes out on the Internet and gets all the
album and track information and when you place tracks in your online
library, they are fully documented with no work on your part. I have offered
several suggestions to MusicMatch about improvements that would cause me to
upgrade to a paying customer, but as yet, they have not provided any of
them. As freeware, it's a great deal.

Seconded. I use MP3Tag exclusively myself now, having been put onto it
