it gets almost fully rebooted the same things happens. it will continue
restarting itself with that page full of words indefinately. i hate windows
xp, what should i do? email (e-mail address removed) if possible

HAs it occurred to you that the MP3 player may be faulty?

Try attaching it to another PC and identify if it works properly when
connected there.

If it does, then try using Device Manager to uninstall the MP3 player from
your PC and attempt to reinstall it. Hopefully the system may build up the
correct driver files for it.

In order to check the error code Windows is giving, right click on My
Computer, go to Properties, click on Advanced Tab, Start Up and Recovery
Settings, under System Failure uncheck Automatically restart. This way when
you get the error, it will appear as a BSOD and you will be able to see the
details of the error message.

Good luck,

Ray
