Hi, for the last few months, I've been able to play MP3s
without a problem on my Dell P4 pc, on XP Home, using WM9
player. However, this weekend, whenever I play an MP3
file, it sounds like it's being "Mixed" -- ie with
various sound effects. I'm not sure what happened, but
how do I revert back to the "normal" playback?

Thanks!

Does this happen when playing wave files ? If so, sounds (ha ha) like you've
inadvertantly got some filters switched on. Turn them off and should be OK.
Check all software you use for playing back sounds.

Cheers,
Jerry
