Most of the drive manufacturers include a utility to do this. Maxtor's is
called "MaxBlast". If you use MaxBlast, boot to the CD and do it that way,
don't use the Windows version of MaxBlast it doesn't copy NTFS correctly.
The DOS version works fine though.
I'm sure Seagate has something similar.

I want to install a new 120 gig drive as my primary
master and move the current 80 gig drive to the primary
slave position. My question is: Is there any way to do
this, or does anyone know of a site to go to for help.

By the way if anyone is interested Best Buy has a great
deal on the Seagate Barracuda 120 gig Ultra ATA $119.99.
$40.00 rebate by mail and a $20.00 Best Buy Gift Card
rebate. Final cost roughly $60.00.

If Seagate doesn't have similar software that TJ said, you could try to
copy the existing partition into the new drive using the PowerQuest
Partition Manager.

Well you've made a few steps in the right direction already.

The Seagate drives when bought in retail packages come with their own disk
utilities on CD and very good written instructions.

You have all you need:
1. to boot up from the CD
2. Partition and format the new drive
3. clone the existing drive

You then need to reconfigure your hardware with new drive as primary master
and old drive as secondary master or primary slave.

After this reboot to Windows off the 'new' drive.
