Does anyone know how to change the position of the taskbar
in Windows XP? Somehow my mother moved it to the left
side of the screen and I cannot move it back down to the
bottom. I have tried to move the taskbar to where she has
it on my own computer, but have no idea what she did (so I
can't figure out how to fix it either.)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there,

This works on mine. Right click on the taskbar and make sure there's
no tick next to "Lock the Taskbar". You can then drag and drop it to
where you want it to be.

Good luck :)

Jason:
Right-click an empty part of the taskbar and see if "Lock the Taskbar" is
checked. If so, click on it to unlock the taskbar; if not, leave it
unchecked. Then click on an empty part of the taskbar, hold the left mouse
button down, drag it where you want, and release. You can then lock the
taskbar if desired to make it difficult to move by accident.

Just left-click and hold, and pull it to the bottom of the
screen. Then release the left mouse button. You can also
click (and hold) on the upper edge to resize it if
necessary.
