I got the sober worm and re-installed from backup discs. I have two drives,
one very small and one large. I put it on the large one and would like to
move it to the smaller drive. Its on the same computer. Is there an easy way
to do this for a not to savy computer user?

I'd suggest using a BartPE bootCD. Either that or you need something like
Drive Image. Unfortunately you cant XCOPY it across in windows itself, like
you used to do with Win9x.

can I scrub the other drive clean, install from my backup discs on the new
drive and remove windows from old drive or would they conflict?

The main thing if you're going to do an install is to either temporarily
remove the other drive, or else make sure the partition you're installing-to
is the active boot partiition. If you don't you may end-up with Windows
being on a disk other than C:

Re-reading that, if you're restoring a backup that should work OK provided
it's the kind of backup that includes all system files. Obviously that
depends on the program which made the backup. In this case still best to pull
the other disk for the first boot of the new system.

Sure, use Norton Ghost to clone the drive. I think it runs $29.99.

As suggested by another poster, you can also use BartPE (free) to copy
files from one drive to another, but you will have to issue "fixmbr"
from the Windows XP CD on the smaller drive after the file copy to
install a new MBR.
