moving the OS files of XP PRo to it's Slave driive

When the rest of us catch up to your timeline in about a month then
someone may answer your question.
 
Zip, there is a 'Drive Cleanup' feature that you should walk through on the
OS Drive to identify any temporary files that can be cleaned up. You can
also relocate the swap file to an alternate partition to gain some minimal
space on the disk.

Give us a description of the hard drive sizes and hardware configuration.

Usually, you should place the Windows XP Pro onto the primary booting drive
(C:) and the largest drive you have. The swap file should be also on the
boot drive although you can place it on its own partition. Just make sure
that the hard drive is always availalble and fast enough to keep up with XP.
All data/programs can be placed on separate drive.

If you have Partition Magic, you don't need reinstall.
Partition Magic can duplicate partition. from one to another one.
so just get larger size of Hard disk drive and copy entire old hard disk and replace it.

Your best option just re-install windows from the start, which
is your best move

Sorry about the date problem................ I did and do run clean up as
much as possible and have even compressed the hard drive.

I have Partition Magic, and I do know how to do a clean install of XP and
have the OS disks for XP home and the upgrade disks for xp pro! I also have
the OS disks for every version of Windows going back to when it was given
away with pagemaker!
I really do not want to reinstall the OS on the Large drive unless that is
my only option.the drive is the OS! Is there >a way to move the os files over to the big
drive and just use the Root drive
