i'm running windows xp home on a 10GB hdd (+/- 2.5 GB free space)... i'm
planning an upgrade to a bigger (my mobo can handle up to 160 GB) hdd... can
i move programs from the little drive to the bigger one, or do i have to
re-install everything? i have CDs for almost everything, (a couple of
programs are downloaded), so re-installing won't be an insurmountable problem
if i have to go that route...

thanx for the advice... when i get the work done, i'll pass on the
suggestions to the people doing it (i lack the skill set to do it myself).

thanks again.

Hi again,

You're welcome!

........ i'll pass on the suggestions to the people doing it......

And if it doesn't go well, they'll come looking for you instead of me.
