moving quarter attendance tracking

Our company tracks attendance per moving quarter (90 days) and it is done
manually. If an employee obtains three points in any given moving quarter
they are given a written warning. Three more points within that period and
they recieve a second and final warning and two points later they are
discharged. Can someone help me with a template or formula that will help
make this task more efficient? Thanks in advance!
 
A lot of this will depend on how the data is laid out, and how you'd
like to see the finished product. Can you post some sample data, and
what your desired result is? The moving quarter total is a
straightforward formula, and you could build some intelligence into it
by using an IF statement, but we'd need to see what the data looks
like.

Additionally, is the data entered in such a way as to make points
calculation automatic (IF late twice in one week, assign one point,
etc)?
