Moving my computer

During moving my computer to the next room over, I noticed when I started the
computer up in under my account the desktop wallpaper was gone. This isnt a
problem because it was just a image I used from Internet explorer. Then I
noticed that my quicklaunch bar is gone. Not completely the box is still
there but no icons. So I tried to right click start take quick launch off
then put it back again. Nothing happens. All the other accounts have quick
launch and nothing changed. I tried to restore my computer back to a couple
days prior. Nothing changes. I google this topic and it says alot of the
time it is caused by spyware. I am 99% sure this isnt the case, I use virus
scans, ad aware, spy bot almost on a nightly basis.

Im comfused.

You know how it works at the shop but not at home problem?

Open you computer and make sure all the cables are snug and tight, HD
cables do come loose when the system is moved around.

Did you set it down hard? If so, you may have unseated the Ram just
enough to cause instability. TRy reseating.

That doesn't make his advice valid. There are people who can't read or
write that live to be over 100.

Alias, hitting 60 this month.
 
All the cables are snug and the ram is ok. This has to be some kind of
software problem. Maybe my girlfriend downloaded some spyware? Nothing
shows up though.
