moving link for MyDocuments

Before I had to reload my XP, I had my "My Documents" linked to another
location, where I have a "briefcase" that holds all files. This briefcase is
on another drive. I cannot remember what I originally did to accomplish
this, but it was a series of, within Explorer, moving the MyDocuments folder
to the destination drive, or vice versa. Cannot remember, but would love to
resume that setup. Any help from someone who's done this or knows how it
would redirect itself?

Right-click the "My Documents" icon, select properties, and on the target
tab, click on "Move"...

I think the problem with this is that it actually moves the stuff in MyDocs
(pics, and all the other crap MS loads in there) to the target. I just want
the link redirected. The other answer seemed to get me there, but thx.

you can also right click
on the "my documents" link
in the start menu and modify
the standard location to your
"preferred" target/location.
