In our office there have been a few drag and drop issues with file folders on
our network. Is there a way to lock the folders so they can not be accidently
moved from there location?

Right-click a folder you do NOT want available on the network; In menu,
select "Sharing and Security..."; this gets Properties box with Sharing tab.
Tick "Make...private" if wanted to have folder private and untick "Share
folder on network" if not wanted available on network.

Turn on Auditing or use something like "PA File Sight for Windows" to
monitor. At least you'll be able to point a finger at the offender. Usually
some training is needed as the person doesn't realize what they're doing to
others and the data.
