moving fields from contacts to tasks, data does not move

If I place my "company" field from the list of contacts fields available, and
use that field in the tasks section, the data does not follow. Anyway to
make this work. Other fields i place in the tasks section seem to work fine.
 
Any folder view shows only the data in that folder, even though Outlook lets
you think otherwise by allowing you to add fields from different types of
items in the folder. In your case, the Tasks folder simply doesn't contain
that data. You can accomplish what you want, however, with a little custom
VBA code. For an example, see
