I have a new Vista system and I have everything I want from my XP system
except the email. How do I find the file for just the email and transfer
that to my new system ? I do have an easy tansfer cable but did not get it
until after my new system was configured and besides I am afraid ill mess
things up with incompatable drivers and programs.
Thanks

What program handled the mail on your old computer? If it was Outlook
Express, see here:

<http://www.vista4beginners.com/Migrate-from-Outlook-Express-to-Windows-Mail>

After you copy the files to a directory on your new computer, make
sure these copies are read-write instead of readonly before you tell
Windows Mail to import the whole directory containing these files
(not specific files in that directory).

Since I am already using Vista on my new computer and everything is working
fine I want to make sure this will not overwrite or delete my new settings or
email. Will I be OK or should I import this to another profile other than my
main profile.

That's not a Windows Mail issue. You will get more help by posting
in the general Vista newsgroup: microsoft.public.windows.vista.general
