Moving e-mail from Outlook Express 6 to Outlook 7

-I have been trying to move my archived emails on my old computer with
Outlook Express 6 to my new computer with Outlook 7. I have read several
postings on the issue and followed the instructions on Microsoft's site that
many have been referred to. Once you copy the e-mails on the old machine to
the new machine with Outlook 7, the directions want you to open Outlook
Express, which isn't on the new machine. I can open the folder they had me
copy to the new machine, but there is no program associated with it to then
open the Tools menu, click Options and then Maintenance, etc. What do I do
now?

You have to make your old outlook express msg store available to Windows
Mail, before you can then export msgs to Outlook
