I'd like to move the entire Documents & Settings folder
to our D drive. Can that be done. I've seen how to move
just the My Documents folder but not the rest of the
contents of Documents & Settings.

No. You can specify a different location during setup, using and Unattended
installation file, but there is no way to move Documents and Settings after
the fact. TweakUI for Windows XP can do many of the Personal Folders, in
Documents and Settings, for you. It can be found at

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp

The option your looking for is in the My Computer, Special Folders section.

Thanks. When I went to install TweakUI I got the
following error message:

The procedure entry point GetDllDirectoryW could not be
located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll

Any ideas?1

Are you sure you're downloading the version for XP? Note, the one on MS's
page only works with SP1, if I recall correctly.

No. Documents and settings includes basic information that needs to be
read before the user is logged in, which means before the references to
location of files are available. Notably the ntuser.dat and its
fellows, this is the user hive of the registry - and is needed at logon

You can move the various 'My' folders by r-dra, move here. You can move
Temporary internet files using its settings button in Control Panel -
Internet Options,
