I seem to remember that with Windows 98 there was a way of taking the
properties of a dial up netwrok connection and putting them on a
floppy which could then be copied onto a new computer.

I am now running Windows XP home and will soon be getting a new
computer also with Windows XP home. Is there any way of doing this or
will I need to type in all the properties of the connection (telephone
no., user name password etc.) on the new computer ?

Please reply to group and e-mail will also be welcomed.

Suresh,

As an MVP, I would have thought you'd know how to use the spell checker, too
:-)

Hi Ben,

Suresh is an MVP from India, his installed languages may not support an
English spellchecker.

Is your mastery of the Indian language that great?
