Ive been trying to create a video for some time now, but Movie Maker 2's been
incredibly slow. First i deleted the collections except for what i needed,
and it seemed fine, but then it started freezing abruptly and wouldnt even
respond. The slightest wrong move with the mouse would cause this. So i ran
ad-aware to clear out the sytem, and although Movie Makers no longer freezing,
there isnt any sound, as if its been muted.

Any ideas as to why this has happened? the PC suffered no problems prior to
this, and its very confusing.

Thanks,

Did you install SP2? If so, that is why... I would know because I
distributed it. As A partner for Microsoft, and I have many close friends
who designed & Tested this
service pack, but they are issuing updates for it every 2 days or so... you
are lucky if it hasn't crashed your computer. Write to me at
(e-mail address removed) if you need further help... this is the biggest flop
since Win 98, first Edition, and it may have downloaded w/o your knowledge
through Windows Update. Sincerely upset w/ MS, bleughost.
