movie clip audio issue

After inserting a movie clip to a PowerPoint slide, I
would like to mute the audio portion of the movie clip so
only the video plays, not the audio portion (of the movie
clip).

I have a sound clip that plays in the same slide, but the
audio from the movie clips plays as well - I don't want
the movie clip audio to play.

Any suggestions.........

PPT plays video and sound "as is," so I'm pretty sure you'd need to edit the
audio out of that portion of the video and recompress to create a new video.
