movie and music out synk

I made a movie in movie maker using photos I scanned however when i burn it
as a VCD using Nero the music and the pictures no longer match up and the
video is now shorter than the song. Any suggetions?

Try downloading and using photostory 3, free from MS. This is designed for
working with stills, whereas MM is really for video. If you wish to remain
with MM, then don't use jpegs or MP3 files.

Thank you for your advice. I saved the movie as a DV-AVI file and it works
good but know the music seems a bit choppy. You suggest not using mp3 or
jpegs. Why not & what would you suggest?

Becaue MM doesn't work well with them, in fact several editing apps don't.
Use Bitmpas for stills and wav/wma/wmv for audio.
