Moved Shortcuts

I seem to have lost some files and folders. Having searched my hard drive I
can see them but when I try to open them I get a message 'Shortcut has been
moved or changed and will not work properly'. Is there a way to get these
files, folders back please.

If this is being seen using Search, it will take some work but the "lost"
items aren't really lost. Most likely, whatever shortcuts it is referring
to ere changed as moving them should have no effect on the destination or
target.

Using Search, copy down the paths for the items in question, open the
containing folder, right click , then select "Create shortcut" per item.
Cut and paste shortcuts where wanted, being sure to delete the bad ones if
they exist where new ones are going.
