Moved mail item to "Outlook Today"

We are just starting to use Outlook and one of our users
moved a mail item from his deleted items to the "Outlook
Today" box instead of his Inbox. Where did the item go?
PMS. We were able to search for it and it was found in "In
Top of Information"; and put it in the appropriate folder,
but you can't see it at all from that view. PMS.
 
Thanks. It worked perfectly. I know this will be the first
of many instances that a user will do this!

To "show" the items in the Outlook Today folder do the following:

1. Right-click Outlook Today and click Properties.
2. On the Home Page tab clear the "Show home page by default for this
folder"
3. Click OK.
4. Move the messages into the correct folder
5. Right-click Outlook Today and click Properties.
6. On the Home Page tab enable the "Show home page by default for this
folder"
7. Click OK.
