I created all my webs under "My Network Places" but now want to move them
from there to my hard drive. How can I do this? I tried copying & pasting
the folder - that didn't work (just created a short-cut to the webserver.) I
also tried Publishing to my hard drive but it only moved the folders and gave
me an error about not having a web server at the remote host location.

Thanks,
Beverly

Hi Beverly,

Your question is a little confusing. "My Network Places" is simply a bunch
of shortcuts to various network resources (resources that are not on the
local machine). So, you don't create a web in Network Places. You create a
web on a web server, and FrontPage adds a shortcut to My Network Places. So,
we have no idea where your webs are at this point.

The basic method you need to use is this: You open the web you want to
publish in FrontPage. Then you publish it to the location you want to
publish it to.
