MouseOver pop-up in PowerPoint Text

Is there a way I can get an effect similar to the ToolTip property (which
doesn't seem to be available in PowerPoint controls) when I mouseover a
portion of text?

Right click the textbox and choose "hyperlink"

Place in this doc > select the textbox name and then screentip. Works in XP
& 2003 not sure about other versions.
