I have used computers for years and am pretty good at it, but this is
ridiculous that I can not even figure it out!
I have Windows Xp home edition, AMD 1.6 GHZ 1024mb ram. Here is the
problem..I for my work, have a group online that helps ppl that has or wants
a home biz, to be able to share ideas, support and whatnot..So I have many
documents on taxes, flyer designs and info that I have on my desktop that I
need to upload to my group. I am updating all my current documents, so I have
placed them all on the desktop to put in a folder once completed, and ready
for transferring online.
I grab a document and try to drag it into that folder as mentioned above,
and it will not move. The only option is to open the folder I want it to go
into, copy the document and paste in that folder and then delete the original
file. This is taking me way too long and I am not happy! All other user
accounts do not do this. I have replicated the other settings for the desktop
as in this main one, but to no avail. This just started happening 3 days ago.
I did today try to change the mouse pointer style to default-and it won't
even change at all. Should I do a system restore?
