Mouse trouble

Hi i recently reinstalled WinXP and now My mouse courser works for a
while then disapperas with the courser frozen on the screen. I can
still move it and find if i press ctrl but i is very upsetting after a
while I downloaded mouse drivers and that didn't help. Is there any
advise that any one has that can help me out. Thanks

Mouse settings are in Control Panel

AT the moment, it appears to be set so that you see it when
you press Control (one of the settings you'll find when you
access the Mouse in the Control Panel.

Ya i had to put that one b/c that was the only way i could locate the
mouse but it does did it before i put that setting on.
