Is there any way to accomplish the follow:
I have a compaq running windows xp home. I need to have 2
mice setup on the machine(one normal mouse and one
trackball). How would I go about being able to have both
connected at the same time? One user has to use a
trackball and one isn't able to use it(medical reasons).
It's a pain to have to get under the desk each time to
switch plugs.
Thanks in advance

Or install one PS/2 with one USB mouse or 2 USB mice. Both units need to be
made by the same company.

I beg to differ. At one point, I had 2 mice, 1 scrolling mouse-emulator
thing (hard to explain, but it controlled cursor movement via scrolling
bars) and a Wacom tablet that also could be used as a mouse replacement. All
four were different manufacturers. Worked fine.

I have also had a BlueTooth mouse and a PS/2 Mouse connected at the same
time and both worked without needing me to do anything ;)
