I have had my MS Optical Intellimouse Explorer 3 for
several years now. And lately I've been having problems
with the movement of the mouse. I've tried using different
mousemats and I stillhave the problem.

What I think the problem is now is the small pads under
the mouse that allows smooth motion has worn away so much
that the mouse base is actually being used to move the
mouse.

So my question is this, where can I get replacement pads
for my mouse?

Or make your own little pads with some bumpers usually used in wood
working for cabinets. Just cut them to fit. This is what I had to do
with one of my old mice, but then I finally upgraded to a wireless mouse
and keyboard for $25 (MS Wireless Optical Desktop 2.0). I think just
purchasing a new mouse or even a wireless desktop would be an excellent
move ;)
