Hi guys,

I have 3 new mice

Logitech ps/2 port mouse...................works only vertically

Logitech USB cordless mouse............absolutely dead

HID-compliant mouse.........................working properly(USB)

Anybody knows why?

All three devices are working properly (from "mouse properties" box)

The first mouse can be hooked up to the computer through a USB port by an
adaptor and still acts the same

Thank you,

Sam

1) Open it up on its underside (rotate the circular piece of plastic,
remove the ball) and clean it out. You will likely find a lot of crud
wrapped around at least one roller, keeping the roller from rolling properly.

2) New batteries?

3 blind mice???

After you change the batteries in the cordless mouse, remember there are
reset buttons on the underside of the transmitter, and the mouse, that have
to be actuated.
