Mouse Over Launching

Am I correct in remembering that there is a setting
somewhere in XP Home that toggles on/off a feature that
will automatically launch an application simply by holding
the mouse pointer over an icon, without having to double
click it? This is what's actually happening, but I want to
shut it off. Can't seem to find it in Control
Panel/Accessibility or Mouse, or anywhere else I've
looked. Thanks in advance.

1. Open XP's "Help and Support Center".
2. Type: HOVER in the Search box, hit enter.
3. Click on "Use hovering mode" and follow the instructions.
