mouse operates without clicking

my mouse is not functioning properly. it executes witout
clicking the right or left button. the moment the
pointers is placed on an icon it automatically executes
the open/run command.
 
Your mouse may be bad, one if the micro-switches may be
locked closed. Try another mouse if you have not
already. Also check in the controll panel under mouse amd
make sure the properites are set up correctly.
